helios.bz, the company I work for most of the time, let me have a crucial role in the redesign process for the company’s new CD and their new website. The new design (of which I’m very proud I must admit) finally expresses the vision and the ideals behind the company: to communicate and market sustainability in its many forms. Hence we also dropped the old “audiovisual communication agency” in favor of the much more effective “sustainable communication”.
MINI-WORKSHOP circuitbending
Arciragazzi – Creative Media Lab, Premstallerhof
Via Dolomiti 14, Bolzano
I am very proud to announce the release of Joyless Pleasure Remixed. Haujobb, Frank Kvitta, Phil J, Tomas Tulpe, Millimetric, Cute Heels, Acrosome, Rumpelfilter, Steinkind, Miss Duckin, Miro Pajic, Humandroid, Raytrace, Mac Vaughn, People Theatre, Johann Afterglow, Dom Dumoulin, Angst and Stamba have all created remixes. Everyone did a fantastic job. It’s available today on iTunes, Amazon and the Andtroid Marketplace. Next week it will be available on Beatport. So do tell me which mixes you like the best. The best way to support Wire to the Ear is to buy some of my music and/or click over to the places this release is for sale and give it a nice review and rating. I wish I could still fit into that grey suit and orange turtleneck.
Just in time for Christmas I’ve opened a shop on Artflakes! Check it out, maybe you’ll find something. They have different options, from canvas print to cheap greeting cards!
It’s now finally available! Filadressa #7, a yearly publication by Edition Raetia about tyrolean literature, features one of my short “parasite comic” titled Space Schützen. This comic is a collection of narrative and visual fragments about a dystopian future where the province of South Tyrol (where I live) has become a multinational corporation that comquers alien planets to turns them into alpine holiday destinations for tourists.
I’ve recently been interviewed by the local radio station Rai Sender Bozen. The interview was mainly about circuit bending and my recent EP release It’s the End, but I’ve talked about my comic projects as well.
The interview is completely in German (dialect) so skip ahead if you’re not fluent in this language.
Some illustrations I’ve made for the French magazine l’Optimum. I’ve actually made these some months ago, but I noticed only now that I had never posted them here…
I recently created this illustration for the Magazine Accademia , run by the scientific research institute European Academy of Bolzano - Eurac. The illustration clearly references to the style of old woodprints, which is something I find incredibly interesting, and which I’d love to investigate further.
