I actually just wanted to dance, really. But they made be work.
We did the same thing last year. We even did a time lapse of it.

Usually I don’t like too happy music, but there is something in Omodaka’s music that just works for me. Maybe it’s the unusual mix between happy-go-lucky gameboy tunes and traditional Japanese vocals, maybe it’s the style of some of their videoclips.
Anyway, check them out, and start 2012 with a positive mood!
Their latest album Sanosa can be bought in the usual places like iTunes, Amazon and 7digital (just search Omodaka)

I had this illustration (originally made for the a hundred word stories project) printed on canvas today for a friend. It’s amazing how different the illustration works on a 50x50cm format hanging on a wall. I’m very exited about this! Btw. you can order your own if you want here: www.artflakes.com

I’ve been following the indie game website/blog/forum Pixelprospector for some time now so I decided that they deserved some kind of tribute… and a thread on their forum was the final trigger. The drawing is an interpretation of the website’s mascot, a miner with a glowing joystick in his hands.
