In the last weeks I have collaborated with some friends (from the local electronic music scene) on a quite fun little project. I call it “30 seconds online jam exquis” but we actually never decided a name for it…

The idea is not new and we don’t want to take credit for it. Basically it works like a cadavre exquis in musical form. Each musician is allowed to create a 30 seconds piece, then it must be passed to the next person with stems of the single tracks. The idea is to have a continuously mutating piece of music where elements are addes, modified, distorted…

Apparently Syndrome09 went quite well, because I’m already working on a 2.0 version called SyndromeX. The game got a complete redesign treatment (and this time I could work on it all on my own). Right now I’m focusing on the intro screen and the avatars, but there’s also some other improvements in the works!
